What is the main goal of Ready2Volunteer?
The goal is to connect volunteers with children and youth serving organizations to build a stronger community by focusing on helping children and youth in Southern Oregon be successful in school, complete their education, and build a promising future.

Will this service cost anything to the volunteers involved?
No, the online database for the Ready2Volunteer website is completely free of charge for volunteers.

Where did Ready2Volunteer come from?
Ready2Volunteer is a project of The Jackson County Commission on Children & Families.  The Commission on Children & Families created the website to help connect volunteers to programs in Jackson County that serve children 0-18.

How does the Ready2Volunteer website work?
The Ready2Volunteer website benefits both the volunteer and volunteer organizations.  The way Ready2Volunteer works is simple. Organizations sign up online to post information about their program on the Ready2Volunteer website. Then, volunteers search through the list of organizations posted on the website to decide which organization(s) best match their skills, interests, abilities, and time commitment.

Is there an age requirement to use the Ready2Volunteer website?
No, there is no age requirement to use the services of the Ready2Volunteer website. It is up to the organizations listed on the website to determine the minimum age requirements of  volunteers.

Can nonprofit organizations search for volunteers directly?
No, nonprofit organizations cannot search for volunteers directly; however, volunteers can search for volunteer opportunities through Ready2Volunteer.

Will my email and personal details be kept private?
Ready2Volunteer does not share its email addresses or contact lists with any third party interest.
